After graduating his Bachelor of Business at Curtin University in 1985, Kim worked in various Finance and Administrative roles within Westrail including management of the department’s Endowment Fund.

After 10 years with Westrail, Kim took up employment with Robinson Cox, which later became Clayton Utz. He worked with Clayton Utz for 12 years in a number of senior management roles before taking a similar position with Minter Ellison.

In 2000, Kim resigned from Minter Ellison to form his own business of Practice Management Professionals, dealing with management and system consulting, specialising in the needs of Legal Practices.

Kim is experienced in management consulting, system reviews and installation, project management, benching marking analysis, business drivers (KPIs) but most importantly understands the inner workings of legal practices.

Kim’s expertise, knowledge and guidance is widely sort and he regularly conducts seminars across a wide range of topics for individual practices, The Law Society of WA and ALPMA.

Melanie has worked in the legal industry since 2004 and specialises in the area of bookkeeping and is also able to assist with training, system consulting and general office administration.

Having previously been employed in a legal practice, Melanie has experience in many aspects of administration and the general running of a legal office, including general practice, service trusts and legal trust accounting.

Melanie is trained in Open Practice, ATOM, LawWare, LIV Trust and MYOB and has a strong knowledge of Filepro, Law Ledger and Microsoft Office programs.

Melanie has a completed a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and the Legal Bookkeepers Institute Trust Accounting course and is a registered BAS Agent (Number 83108004)

Melanie is currently a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
